    Category: Environment

My dad was a preacher, and one of the perks we all enjoyed was travelling with him and visiting new places. He was very active with tent revival meetings, healing crusades and church rallies. Unlike children who live in urban areas and are mostly confined, we were privileged in many ways. For most of my childhood, I spent outdoors exploring Nevada. It is here where I learnt hunting and fishing while learning other skills. When I turned 22, I travelled 3,243.3 miles north from America’s 7th least populated ‘Silver Stare’ to Alaska using the majestic Alcan Highway with my family. My wife and three kids joined me in this path-breaking journey in a 1975 GMC Jimmy SUV.
