Computer helped style was provided in the footwear market in the 19 70’s. Initially it was used mainly for style ranking. It permitted manufacturers to perform complex ranking relatively quickly. CAD methods today have been developed with a much wider range of features. Pictures, designs and other designs can be incorporated into product designs of both the uppers and pants to help enhance marketing on all areas of the design.
