    Anil Chopra Beauty and Wellness Bessemer Venture Partners Series A funding Stayglad , Funding , Investments , News , StartupsBengaluru-based on demand beauty services platform focusing on women, StayGlad has raised series A funding from Bessemer Venture Partners and Anil Chopra – Former CEO Lakme Lever. It was founded by three IIT Kharagpur graduates Kavish Desai, Shashank Gupta and Prateek Jain, who have previously worked at Flipkart, Adobe and Amazon respectively. StayGlad, raised seed round of funding from Tracxn Labs and Sahil Barua in June 2015. StayGlad has raised series A funding from Bessemer Venture Partners and Anil Chopra – Former CEO Lakme Lever. Shown Above: StayGlad’s Co-Founders Stayglad is a platform that enables customers to get beauty, styling and ‘get ready’ services at their doorstep, by discovering verified, trained, experienced and certified beauty service professionals. When asked about the current traction, Prateek said, “In a short period of time, we have been able to build a loyal customer base, which reflects in the 70% repeat orders every month. We have been growing 20% week on week, word of mouth and endorsement by our existing customers continues to be the biggest channel for consumer acquisition. On the backend, we continue to employ technology to scale operations at a rapid pace.” Other funded startups Vyomo, Big Stylist and Getlook are also operating in this space. The year of 2015 has seen investors warming up to this space, more investments in this hyperlocal niche space could be seen next year. Prateek Jain, CEO, Stayglad, said, “We are obsessed with providing a great experience to our customers.
