    P2 Zone – New housing space in Delhi

    Located in North Delhi, P2 Zone comprises of the total 8,534 hectares. The Delhi Master Plan 2021 subdivides the whole of the urban area under P-II Zone into 13 Sectors for the purpose of development. Each sector contains multiple land use categories. When this sub-city is fully developed will supply housing facilities to over 4.22 lakh families from around all income groups. • Introduced as one of the Delhi’s newest sub-cities. • Located on the eastern side of NH-1 in North Delhi. • Larger than Dwarka sub-city covering 40% of the land mass. • Sufficient ground water level to supply to 20L people as it is near to Yamuna River. • 3 major connecting expressways namely Urban Extension I, II and III originate in this sector and connecting with NH-1, NH-10 and NH-8 crossing each other at Narela, Rohini and Dwarka. • First metro reaching in DMRC Phase-III originates from Mukundpur in P2 to Yamuna Vihar. Metro Stations have been provisioned in each sector in Delhi Master Plan 2021. • Near to Sector 3, Mega Exhibition/trade fair on the lines of Pragati Maidan. Similarly, there is a mega Amusement Park beside the Exhibition Centre. • Full blown River Front boulevard including pathways for walking and Cycling with a Leisure Park along the river-side boundary stretching over 11.5 Km. • Tall structure buildings provisioned in Sector V and VI with huge City Park. Helipad facility will be incorporated which will be accessible to many cities. • A number of Medical and Engineering Colleges/Hospitals, general, as many as 135 Schools, along with Sports Centers. • Already existing electrical sub-station & water treatment plant. This will be further expanded to cater to an increased population in this zone. • All the important Delhi landmarks are very well connected to this zone like – CP (19km), ISBT (8km) and Delhi University (8Km).
