Rheumatic Fever is one of the worries related with strep throat, caused by a type of bacteria called group A streptococcus, generally known as strep germ. After causing sore throat, if left untreated, the strep germs affect the whole body, especially the big joints, heart, brain, skin and this reaction is known to be rheumatic fever.
