The event will feature two inspirational speakers – Yalda T. Uhls, who will speak on the topic of parenting in the digital age and Farnaz N. Reneker, an architect who will speak on the integration of functional design into our beach lifestyle. Yalda T. Uhls is an award winning child psychology researcher and author who recently published the book “Media Moms & Digital Dads,” which aims to help parents and educators throughout the difficult task of understanding the impact of media on children. She integrates her prior 15 years of experience as a senior entertainment executive with her understanding of the child’s mind to help parents better understand their children. Farnaz N. Reneker is an architecture and design expert that uses her experiences travelling to Scandinavian countries as well as her education and architectural training for inspiration for her projects. Since 2004 she has completed a variety of high-end interior design projects in Los Angeles and has been featured in publications such as the Architectural Digest, Interiors and Interior Design magazines.
