WARM UP FOR A DELICIOUS WINTER

Category: Education

Besides cosying up in warm blankets and playing in the sun, the most important ingredient for some winter fun is lots of scrumptious food to indulge in. As the season of all things warm, fuzzy and delicious beckons us, we thought of sharing some easy-to-make comfort food recipes with you this week. Your child and you can whip up these delicious treats together quickly in the kitchen and enjoy them while watching your favorite movie or playing a game in the comfort of your cave of quilts! 1.Hot Cocoa Mix This one is a classic winter special and is super easy to make. Blend some cocoa, sugar, chocolate and add a quarter of a teaspoon of salt till it becomes a smooth paste. Add 3 tablespoons of this mixture to every mug of milk you wish to serve and microwave on high for at most 2 minutes. Your mug of hot cocoa is ready to relish! 2.Bananas And Cookie Crumble Topped With Chocolate Sauce Bananas and chocolate are a match made in heaven and theirs is a relationship that’s simple and soulful. Slice a couple of bananas and toss them in a bowl with some crumbled chocolate chip cookies (Parle Hide & Seek Milano gives best results) Add a generous dollop of chocolate sauce on top, grab a couple of forks and settle in for a delectable treat. 3.Baked Potatoes With Red Chilly Chutney Wash the potatoes, cut them into half, sprinkle some oregano or any other seasoning of your choice and coat them lightly with oil. Put them in a pre-heated oven for about 30 minutes. While the potatoes are getting done, blend some chopped onions and dry red chilies. Add salt as per your taste. Once done, the potatoes will be crisp on the outside and tender in the middle and will taste delicious with the spicy red chilly chutney! Happy Winters!
