Yeasts are microorganisms that fall under kingdom Fungi. The fermented products are produced by action of yeast that results in transforming glucose into ethanol. During fermentation, the multiplication of yeast occurs in parallel. Fermentation occurs due to the multiplication of yeast in order to remain alive in presence of alcohol. The occurrence of metabolic reactions results in fermentation products.
